There were three particular projects that I worked on this offseason, each of which had their own objectives and processes. I've listed them below and linked to pages where you can learn more about each.
Prototyping
A crucial part of every season is prototyping, and doing so is definitely a very important skill to practice. We analyzed the 2017 game, Steamworks, and went through the whole prototyping process for a mechanism.
2025 Robot Improvements
After our rough 2025 season, we decided there was still a lot of performance that we could juice out of our in-season robot. With lots of improvements in mind, we set out to improve our auto align, auto paths, vision, and odometry.
Offseason Robot Development
This offseason, we planned to design, assemble, and code a Shooter bot for algae. However, this never got further than the CAD stage. There was still a lot of consideration going into this bot, and we actually finished a codebase!
